Conference call on new Living Shorelines Nationwide PermitTuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM EDTNOAA Invites you to a call/webinar to get your input on what kinds of living shorelines projects and authorization process would be consistent with state Coastal Zone Management Programs if the living shoreline project were authorized under a Clean Water Act Nationwide Permit. NOAA expects the Army Corps of Engineers to propose a new Nationwide Permit for living shorelines for the 2017 Nationwide Permits. In anticipation of a new permit, we’d like to hear what you think are the strengths/weaknesses of existing general permits for living shorelines in your state (if any) and/or what kind of living shorelines projects would be considered consistent with your coastal zone management plan.
